Viola Nephtis
Viola Walters, also known as "Nephtis," holds the rank of first lieutenant and previously served as the deputy leader of the Nefer Union Covert Operatives (NCO).
In the aftermath of a classified mission, Nephtis was discovered clutching an unidentified object, the sole survivor among her team.
Story
Viola was born as the sole scion of the Walters Family in the quiet provinces of the Nefer Union. Her father, a high ranking, decorated general of her country’s military, was what ultimately influenced Viola to enter into military service.
Following in her father’s steps and despite her dislike for war, the Walters scion proved to be a brilliant student and was soon drafted into the military proper.
Her luck soon took a turn for the worst however. During an undisclosed operation in no-man’s-land between the Nefer Union and the Imperial Alliance of Rasol, Viola’s team of operatives was pinned down and wiped out by unidentified enemy forces. The entire team was thought to be KIA, MIA or captured by the Alliance, but recovery operations three days later found the surviving cadet in poor, yet stable condition.
The mystery..
Recalled from active duty after the incident, Viola now serves as a military instructor at the Nefer Union’s Military Academy, specializing in Military Tactics and Ground Warfare.
The circumstances of her transfer are still unknown and discussed in hush tones, having been initiated by the military’s top brass, but details are scarce and loose lips are soon silenced. Viola herself seems to brush off such queries from curious, nosy cadets with a wry smile, and if one persists, a deathly cold glare. And yet, the most curious students sometimes notice her staring silently into nothingness, a visible, dull green glow in her eyes in her office’s dim light…
